Born in Saint Petersburg, Florida, Keisha Bell has lived in various cities throughout the State of Florida, as well as, Georgia, California,
Virginia, and Illinois. It was in high school where she remembers her literary works first capturing the attention of her peers. Even so, she did not pursue a literary-related degree at the University of Central Florida. Instead, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, followed by a Juris Doctorate degree from Florida State University College of Law.
Keisha Bell's uncanny ability to place herself in the shoes of others is combined with creativity and a unique writing style to keep the reader wanting more. In "Emerging...Free", she challenges the reader to examine the issue of "parental abandonment". She challenges the reader to grow.
